About the K.L.E. Society

The K.L.E. Society was established in the year 1916 by a group of young dedicated persons of vision with the aim of spreading education in the state of Karnataka.  From humble beginnings, the society has grown in to a vast institution with the active co-operation and sacrifice of its founders, donors, the public and the student community, and it has now established 296 educational institutions from kindergarten to postgraduate level including Medical, Dental, Engineering, Law & Agricultural. Incarnate up to the expectations of over 1, 38,000 students. The Devoted team of over 18, 000 members of the KLE Family all set to scale new altitudes of domain excellence in the new era.

The Society is already running Six Law Colleges at different places throughout the state of Karnataka and Maharashtra. All these five

Law Colleges are placed in the list of permanently approved Law Colleges maintained by the Bar Council of India, New Delhi.

In order to cater to the needs of the rural public the Society has started one more i.e., fifth Law College at Chikodi, in B.K. College Campus from the year 1999.
